Chennai, July 28: Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, Nungambakkam today won the Chennai City finals of Limca Book of Records Quiz 2009 held at Agarwal Vidyalaya Matric Higher Secondary School, Chennai. The young geniuses from the winning school, in Chennai would now compete with the winners from 74 other cities in the Semi finals. Chettinad Vidhyashram emerged as the runners up during the Chennai City final of the National Quiz.

Around 144 students participated from Chennai out of which 6 schools competed in the city final Chettinad Vidhyashram, Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidhyashram, SBOA Matric Hr Sec School(Anna Nagar East), Kendriya Vidhyalaya (Ashok Nagar), Padma Sehadri Bala Bhavan(Nungambakkam) and Kendriya Vidhyalaya (Gill Nagar)

Also present at the quiz championship was Rigveda Deshpande , Limca Book of Records Holder for setting up the largest whistling group and Rajan Gupta, Area Operations Director, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd who presented the award to the winners of Chennai city finals.
