Udhagamandalam, March 27: The 112th flower show, the major attraction for tourists in this hill town during the summer season, would be held from May 17.
The two-day show would be held at the famous Botanical Gardens, where rare and special flowers would be on display, Dr.Chandramohan, Director, Horticulture, told reporters here today.
The popular rose show, would be held on May 10 and 11 at the sprawling five-acre Rose Gardens, he said.
Similarly, the Golden Jubilee fruit show would be held at nearby Coonoor for two days from May 17, while a one-day vegetable show has been planned in Kothagiri on May 31, Chandramohan said. - Agencies
