Velmore proposes to take over sick units in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 9 : Velmore Innovations, based in Kinfra Industrial Park in Thalassery, has proposed to take over sick small scale units in Kerala, aiming to expand its FMCG product manufacturing base in the State.

Talking to newspersons here, Company Chairman and Managing Director Fawaz Ashraf and Chief Strategy Planner Shukkoor Hassan said they would soon approach the State Government with a take over plan of sick units. Claiming that the Copmany was planning to open 10 more manufacturing units during 2013-14, he said the Compnay was creating more job opportunities in the State, and providing eco-friendly and quality products in major segments including food, cosmetics and hygiene.

Pointing out that the Company has already built up a 30-product portfolio across these three segments, he said the Company would move at the national level by 2015. The Company would launch a major advertising campaign from January 2013. It also targets Rs 100 crore turnover in the next financial year, they added.
