Bangalore, Dec 4: The Indian plastics and petrochemicals industry can bet big on exporting their wares by participating in ARABPLAST 2013 to be held at the World Trade Centre, Dubai from January 7-10 next year. The event, a prominent and popular among trade show events in the United Arab Emirates, has a lot of significance for Indian polymer industry.
Speaking to reporters Satish Khanna, General Manager, AL Fajer Information and Services said at ARABPLAST the Indian participation is being organised with active support from the Department of Commerce under its Market Access Initiative. AFIS is mobilising Indian participation at this prime event. Over 100 players from various segments of the Indian plastic industry shall be participating at this event, he said.
To make this exhibition a grand success, AL Fajer Information & Services has partnered with Messe Dusseldrof, Germany, he said. ARABPLAST is the very popular event for plastic and petrochemicals industry from across the world. It occupies a pride of place as one of the most popular trade show events in the United Arab Emirates feating more than 900 professional exhibitors.
It showcases a wide array of plastics from raw materials (polymers) to semi-finished and finished plastic goods. Exhibitors will also be showcasing a wide range of plastic machinery and other production aids including masterbatches and additives used in plastic processing, Mr Khanna added.
