Swine flu toll in Maharashtra crosses 200-mark

    
Mumbai, Nov 3 A total of 204 persons have died of swine flu so far in Maharashtra, a health official said today.

Till date, 12,72,119 people have been examined for swine flu, with 64,366 suspected patients being administered Tamiflu.

The number of persons who tested positive for the H1N1 influenza is 4,219 of which 3,976 got cured and discharged.

Altogether 235 persons, including 39 positive cases and 196 suspected cases, are still being treated at various hospitals in the state, the official said.

Ten patients are on ventilator, the official said.

Isolation wards have been set up at 101 places and screening centres at 607 places in the state.
