Moga, Nov 22 : Prominent Film actress Priyanka Chopra would give her performance at the opening ceremony of 4th World Cup Kabaddi Tournament scheduled to be inagurated at Bathinda on November 30. Punjab Education Minister and senior vice-chairman organising committee World Cup Kabaddi, Sikander Singh Maluka announced here today that the opening ceremony will take place on November 30 at Bathinda while the closing ceremony will take place on December 14 at Guru Nanak Stadium Ludhiana. Though the name of the actress has been finalised for the opening ceremony, is the closing ceremony celebrity's name yet to be decided. According to Mr Maluka, 20 teams including 12 of men and 8 of women would be participating in the tournament. Mr Maulka also stated, that the prize money in the men's section would be Rs 2 core for the winner and Rs 1 Crore for the winner of women's section. Mr Maluka also stated that the coutnires representing men team include India, Arjentina, US, England, Canada, Pakistan, Siera Leone, Iran, Denmark, Kenya, Scotland and the Spain. Whereas the women teams include India, USA, England, Denmark, Iran, Maxico, Kenya and Pakistan. To keep the world cup Kabaddi drug free, National Anti Dope Agency has deputed teams for conducting dope tests on the players. According to him, the semi-finals of both the sections would be held in Bathinda on December 11. Whereas the final of men's section and closing ceremony will be held at Ludhaina on December 14. The matches for the third and fourth position of both sections men and women and also women's final will be held at Jalandhar on December 13, Maluka added.
