Sivaganga,Nov3: As part of examining conditions at the camps housing Sri Lankan Tamil Refugees,Tamil Nadu Housing and Relgious HR and CE Minister K.R.Periakaruppan and officials today visited the six refugee camps in Sivaganga district.

The Chief Minister M Karunanidhi had directed the ministers to visit the camps in their respective districts and submit a report by November 10 on works to be carried out there.

In some camps the refugees said they were not getting ration items properly and Government's monthly monetary assistance was not given to them on time. - Agencies

How long do you want to keep these refugess in Tamil Nadu. Both State & Central government should make arrangements for these to return to their country within few months. If we don't press this issue Sri Lankan government want them to stay permanently in Tamil Nadu. We can't afford to do that. People should speak out, don't expect/trust these politicians.

Now that their country is free from war, send the refugees back home with 6-monts ration & money. Its upto them to take care of themselves & reform their country.
