Noted Marathi writer Sunita Deshpande passes away

    
Pune, Nov 7 Well-known Marathi writer Sunita Deshpande died here tonight. She was 84.

Sunita, wife of late eminent humorist 'Pu La', died at her residence, family sources said.

Her autobiography 'Aahe Manohar Tari...' had become controversial for its critical portrayal of "Pu La" Deshpande when he was still alive.

Sunita's other books included 'Priya G.A.' (letters written to renowned Marathi short story writer G.A. Kulkarni) and 'Manyanchi Maal.
