Payment through debit cards can be done through gateway (Axis/ICICI) using Card No, expiry date and security code as validations. The internet facility for other areas shall come up in due course. You may use "Forgot Username"/"Forgot Password" link for retrieving username/password. The payment has to be made in the counters after the due date. If meter reading is not available, either the meter reading is not taken or the service has arrears to be paid. You may view the meter reading at bill status under billing services of www.tneb.in website. If you register as a new user for internet payment, you will get mails whenever the demand is raised. If wrong email id is given during registration, mail to ltbill@tnebnet.org for corrections.

I have several meters in my name being the owner of an apartment complex. This month one of them is showing as Reading not available. So it is not possible to pay the due for that one meter online. Earlier I noticed that for this particular meter it was saying that Arrears due for May/2009 which is not correct. DUring the last reading I got the units consumed and the rate to pay. I paid thro ICICI bank and for which i have an receipt. But later on the reading for last session shows more thatn what it was and more than double the amount of what I already have paid. I have a receipt for the last payment. EB is messed up and their actions are not cosistent. Advice on what is to be done. I dont want the connection to be cut off because of the inefficent operation of EB department and their employees performance.
