Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, Jan 12 : Police arrested a 13-year-old boy for molesting a minor girl at Pazhavur village in this Southern district, today.

Police sources said the six-year-old victim, a first standard was playing with other children near her house last evening, when the boy, who was studying eighth standard lured her with a chocolate. The boy took the girl to his home and sexually abused her.

On a complaint from the girl's parents, the boy was arrested under Sections 376 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code and produced before a Juvenile court, which remanded him in a Juvenile home, here. The girl was admitted to the Government medical college hospital for treatment.
