Yeddyurappa, kin summoned by CBI Court

    

Bangalore, Nov 21 : In what could turn out to be a setback to former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, a CBI court in the city has issued orders to summon him and his kin in the illegal mining kickback case.

Besides Mr Yeddyurappa, CBI Court Judge Venkata Sundarshan also summoned other accused in the case including B Y Raghavendra, who is the Shimoga MP, Yeddyurappa's other son B Y Vijayendra, son-in-law R N Sohan Kumar, Former Minister Krishnaiah Setty, the CEO & Senior Vice-President of a Bellary-based private steel company, a Shimoga based Trust and five Bellary-based private companies for alleged abuse of official position and corruption, a CBI release said.
