Hyderabad, Dec 19 : Putting at rest all speculation, the Steering Committee of the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (JAC), which met here today, has decided that its Chairman, Prof M Kodandaram, will not attend the all-party meeting to be convened by Union Home Ministry at New Delhi on separate Telangana statehood issue on December 28.

The Steering Committee discussed the invitation extended by the TRS Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao to Prof Kodandaram to attend the all-party meeting along with him but decided against it. Party sources said the Steering Committee felt it was better for the JAC to allow the parties called for the meeting to express their views and then decide on the future course of action.
