Kozhikode, Oct 17 : The Kerala Press Academy (KPA) will host a study camp for sports journalists at Kappad in Kozhikode district of Kerala on October 19 and 20.

Talking to reporters here KPA Chairman N P Rajendran said as many as 35 sports scribes from the print and visual media are expected to attend. Senior sports journalists and personalities would share their experience in the area with the participants he said. Noted sports writers M P Surendran, K M Narendran, K Abubacker, K N R Namboodiri, D Sudarshan and K Pradeep would conduct the classes at Kappad Beach Resort.

Acting Chef De Mission of Indian contigent at 2012 London Olympics and Indian Amateur Boxing Federation Secretary General Brig P K Muralidharan Raja would inaugurate the 2-day event, he said adding former Sprint Queen P T Usha would be the chief guest.
